A recap of 2023

Link –

At the end of each year, I usually write a full recap of everything I’ve done throughout the past 365 days.

This time, the recap will be much shorter as this year contained more days I’d like to forget than days I’d like to remember. Due to strain caused by events happening in my personal life, I’ve been struggling finding energy to do things I want to do well.

That being said, I feel that I’ve got more good moments in the past few weeks than the entire year combined. It feels good to be headed in the right direction.

Looking back, I find myself surrounded by both life-long and new friends without whom I would have had a much harder time. I’m also grateful for my colleagues that kept all the balls in the air when I felt I couldn’t.

Right now, I do feel some energy coming back, which makes me hopeful. However, in the coming weeks and months, I need to be mindful not doing too much too soon.

I do think that this time next year, I’ll look back at 2023 as a transformative period towards better times!

Have a great 2024!
