At Laracon AU, Jason McCreary gave an excellen talk on how to create maintainable Laravel apps. On his blog he published a written down version of the talk.

The Laracon Online 2018 videos have been released
Laracon Online 2018 was held last year in February. It featured cool talks by Chris Fidao, Wes Bos and of course Laravel creator Taylor Otwell. In tandem with the start of the ticketsales of the 2019 edition, the videos of the 2018 edition have been released.

What's next for JavaScript?
Bram Van Damme, who runs the excellent bram.us blog recently gave a talk at the Frontend United 2018 conference on what will be coming to JavaScript in the next few years.
With ES2015 a lot has changed in JavaScript-land. Lesser known releases are the ES2016 and ES2017 releases. This talk not only touches these two new releases, but also looks forward at what’s to come next for JavaScript (ES2018 and more).
